About the Shopando API

The Shopando API is the heart of a modern, scalable system. Shopando was developed as a REST API from the start - every function and feature you find in our store system is directly accessible via the API. This means:

  • Complete control over your store data
  • Complete flexibility to create your own backend or frontend
  • Easily implement automations, just the way you want them

The Shopando API offers limitless possibilities for your online store! The API has been developed as a powerful and fully accessible REST API that gives you more control and flexibility than any other solution on the market.

Instead of being limited to standard solutions, you can design your backend and frontend to your liking, easily implement automations and customize your processes down to the last detail. And thanks to the real-time integration of webhooks, you can respond to customer actions at lightning speed - from orders and product updates to new registrations.

How to use the Shopando API

You can use the Shopando API via the developer area of our help center, which we call the developer center. It provides you with all the resources and tools you need to get started quickly.

API documentation: All endpoints, parameters and requests are described in detail so that you know how to use the various functions of the API in your store.

Developer Center: Here you will find helpful examples, tutorials and detailed instructions on how to create and test your own API calls.

Events with webhooks

With Shopando webhooks, you can react to events in your store, such as orders, product updates or new customer registrations. Webhooks send real-time notifications to your external systems or applications as soon as a defined event occurs.

  • Select webhook event: Select from a list of available events, e.g. order confirmation, product changes or customer registration.
  • Configure URL: Enter the URL of your system or endpoint to which the webhook data should be sent.
  • Authentication and security: Make sure your webhook URL is secure and add an authentication mechanism if necessary to secure the receipt of webhooks.
  • Testing: Test your webhooks and ensure that the data is processed correctly.
